 Babuji's Mahasamadhi Day - Babuji's Gift

“This day happens to be our Pujya Babuji’s punya thithi [sacred ceremony]. It is the day he decided to enter the higher worlds. I am not using The Brighter World name deliberately, because there is something higher than The Brighter World, and those are the realms he belongs to.

What makes his life so special, at least for us? What do we learn from his life? Can we reflect on his life? When we read some of his literature, his autobiography, it reflects total dedication, single-pointed dedication to his Master. He did not crave for liberation; he did not crave for anything else. He had a single focus. His life also exemplifies absolute surrender, resulting in merger and perfect identicality with his Guru. Often it is misunderstood that merger is everything. But his life shows there is something beyond merger – attaining perfect identicality and still going further. No words can describe the states coming after total identicality.”

ఈ రోజు బాబూజీ మహారాజ్ పుణ్యతిథి. ఆయన ఉన్నత లోకాలకు తరలి వెళ్ళాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్న రోజు. నేను బ్రైటర్ వరల్డ్ అనే పదం కావాలనే ఉపయోగించడం లేదు, ఎందుకంటే బ్రైటర్ వరల్డ్ కంటే ఉన్నత లోకాలున్నాయి గనుక. ఆయన ఆ లోకాలకు చెందినవాడు. 

ఆయన జీవితం మనకు కనీసం, ఎందుకు అంత ప్రత్యేకమైనది? మనం ఆయన జీవితం నుండి ఏమిటి నేర్చుకోవాలి? ఆయన జీవితం గురించి మనం మననం చేసుకోగలమా? ఆయన సాహిత్యం కొంతవరకూ చదివినట్లయితే, ఉదాహరణకు ఆయన స్వీయ చరిత్ర చదివితే ఆయన తన మాస్టర్ పట్ల పూర్తి అంకితభావంతో, ఏకాగ్ర చిత్తంతో జీవించినట్లు తెలుస్తుంది. ఆయన మోక్షం కోసం తపించలేదు; మరి దేని కోసమూ ఆయన తపించలేదు. ఆయన దృష్టి అంతా ఒకే ఒక్క విషయంపై కేంద్రీకృతమై ఉండేది. ఆయన జీవితం సంపూర్ణ సమర్పణభావాన్ని ప్రతిబింబిస్తుంది; ఫలితంగా తన గురువుతో సంపూర్ణంగా లయమైపోయి, ఐక్యం సాధించడం జరిగింది. సాధారణంగా లయావస్థ సర్వస్వం అనుకుంటారు. కానీ ఆయన జీవితం లయావస్థను దాటి కూడా యేదో ఉందనిపిస్తుంది. గురువుతో సంపూర్ణ ఐక్యం పొందిన తరువాత కూడా ఇంకా ముందుకు సాగడం. సంపూర్ణ ఐక్యం తరువాత కూడా ఉన్న ఆధ్యాత్మిక స్థితులను మాటల్లో అసలు వర్ణించలేం.
